Maple Bluff Country Club in Madison, Wisconsin traces its origins to 1899, when founders incorporated Maple Bluff Golf Club and laid out a five-hole course on rented pasture land. The club expanded to a full 18-hole course in 1916, and its original clubhouse was destroyed by a tornado in 1921 before being rebuilt in 1922. The current layout has remained largely unchanged since 1967, with the clubhouse most recently renovated in 2016. Today the course plays 6,425 yards to a par of 71/74 from the back tees.
