South Grove Golf Course
๐ Indianapolis, IN, United States
1800 W 18th St 46202
South Grove Golf Course in Indianapolis was built in 1902 and designed by local architect Harry Schopp, who also designed Pleasant Run and Sarah Shank Golf Course. The name comes from the grove of trees lining the south side of the property, and though relatively flat, the course features tight, tree-lined fairways with gently rolling hills and elevated plateaus for green and tee sites. Located just two miles from downtown, the course offers a view of the Indianapolis skyline. It has hosted many of the city's top amateur tournaments, most notably the annual South Grove Spring Four-Ball, which dates back to 1948.
