Mascoutin Golf Club traces back to 1931, when local golfers formed Mascoutin Country Club with a 9-hole course west of Berlin. In 1976 the club opened its Red and White nines, designed by Larry Packard, on land south of Berlin donated by Dr. LJ and Gladys Seward. The Blue nine, designed by Rick Jacobson, followed in 1999 on adjacent property to the north, bringing the club to 27 holes total. The club remains a shareholder-owned operation managed by a local Board of Directors, open to both members and public play.
