Grosse Ile Golf & Country Club in Grosse Ile, MI features a course designed by Donald Ross. The club hosts a competitive tournament schedule for players of varying skill levels and offers a junior golf program. It is also home to the annual Invitational Tournament, established in 1937 by Buddy Krebs and John Foley, which was the first such event held by a club in Michigan and has attracted golfers including Chuck Kocsis, Arnold Palmer, Chick Harbert, Walter Burkemo, and Frank Stranahan. The tournament remains a highlight of the club's social calendar, held every August.
